A prison guard at the state-run Lorain Correction Institution in Grafton, Ohio, was arrested Monday on a federal charge of conspiring to distribute drugs, Adam Ferrise reports for Cleveland.com. Daryl Gus resigned last Friday after being confronted by investigators about the case, which alleges he smuggled crystal meth and other drugs into the prison for an inmate. According to court documents, Gus confessed that he smuggled items including into the prison on multiple occasions and that he had been paid about $10,000 total ‘so far.’
