Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ brother and social media influencer, Jackson Mahomes, is facing charges of battery and aggravated sexual battery, Jordan Mendoza reports for USA Today. According to court records released on Monday, Mahomes allegedly grabbed a woman by the throat, forcibly kissed her multiple times, and pushed a restaurant employee at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas. The events, which happened in February, were reported to the police, leading to Mahomes’ arrest earlier this month.
The affidavit shows that Mahomes had previous altercations at the establishment and had been asked to leave before. Mahomes has been released on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court for a bond hearing. The court will also decide if he can have contact with witnesses related to the case.
