ABA Law School Accreditation Days May Be Numbered

The Trump administration has it out for the ABA. They’ve been taken off the job of vetting judiciary nominees and seen federal dollars for projects they worked on dry up — ultimately leading to layoffs at the organization. Now Florida is trying to strip the ABA of its role accrediting law schools. How long has the ABA performed the job of accrediting America’s law schools?

Hint: They began vetting law schools themselves in 1938, but took on the official role later.
